I loved the first season of French series Les Revenants. That undoubtedly had a lot to do with the gorgeous and very fitting soundtrack by Mogwai. The intro of one track – which can be heard frequently throughout the series – always reminded me of the intro of the song “Over” by Portishead. Hear for yourself. First “The Huts” by Mogwai, after about 22 second “Over” by Portishead.
Strange, but this version of “The Huts” can only be heard on the EP of the soundtrack. On the LP you will find a somewhat alternative, less similar sounding version.
